COVID-19 Update

There is no higher priority to Sunset Pool Care than the safety of our customers and employees. As such, we would like to address concerns about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), what this situation means for our company moving forward, and the actions we are taking to keep everyone safe.

 

Sunset Pool Care Will Continue To Service & Repair Pools

We will be continuing service and repairs for our customers.  Pool service and repair is considered a critical trade and an essential service.  It is important to keep your pool properly balanced and sanitized, this prevents waterborne diseases that can cause harm to people.

 

The CDC has stated that, “there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and spas.  Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and spas should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”

Changes To Our Procedures To Keep Customers & Employees Safe

We want you to feel comfortable when working with Sunset Pool Care.  We are continually monitoring this situation and adapting our processes to deliver quality service in the safest way possible.  We have implemented new processes to help prevent the spread of the virus and ask you to do the same.

 

  • We have enhanced our cleaning and disinfecting procedures in the interest of our customers’ and employees’ health and safety.

 

  • We are keeping a 4-6 foot distance when interacting with customers and each other and are limiting our interactions unless absolutely necessary.  

 

  • We are completing estimates and providing pricing over the phone, through text and email.  In most cases we can do this through customer descriptions and pictures.

 

  • Payments can be made with credit cards online, over the phone or if need be, in person, through verbal means, without the need for transferring items and keeping a safe distance.

 

  • Any employee showing flu or cold like symptoms will be staying home or working remotely.
